Snapdragon 855+45W fast charge: Galaxy A91 full specifications confirmed, no 5G support

Samsung has been working on the Galaxy A91. The full Galaxy A91 specs are now finally being shared, confirming that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 and offer some features that the Galaxy A90 5G doesn’t have, like 45W super fast charging.

The Galaxy A91 is supposed to be one of Samsung’s 2020 Galaxy A series, so it probably won’t be released before next year. But some reports suggest it could be released before the end of the year.

Full Galaxy A91 specs

According to known information, the Galaxy A91 (SM-A915F) is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and is equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM, and supports up to 512GB microSD expansion, with a 6.7-inch Full HD + Infinity-U screen, These are all identical to the Galaxy A90 5G.

The Galaxy A91 is equipped with the same 48-megapixel main camera, which supports optical image stabilization. The ultra-wide-angle lens has been increased from 8-megapixel to 12-megapixel, and the depth-of-field lens is also 5-megapixel. Front f/2.2 aperture 32-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, with no 5G support. The battery capacity is 4,500mAh, and unlike the Galaxy A90 5G, the Galaxy A91 will support 45W fast charging. However, it remains to be seen whether the 45W fast-charging charger will be sold with the package, or will be purchased separately like the Galaxy Note 10+.

The news shows that the Android 10 matching Galaxy A91 is still in development, which means that the A91 will be pre-installed with the latest version of the Android system. If that’s the case, the A91 won’t be released before next year’s Galaxy S11, as the Galaxy S flagship lineup is always the first device to ship with the latest core OS update, unless Samsung decides not to.

There are some unconfirmed reports that the Galaxy A91 could be released in countries like India before the end of the year. It has been confirmed that the Indian version is based on the Android 9 Pie development system, which means that even if the Indian version of the A91 is released, Android 10 will not be pre-installed.
