Trinamic is mainly engaged in the field of intelligent motion. The combination of its patented motion control technology and Maxim Integrated’s analog signal processing and power supply design technology will surely give birth to a new generation of intelligent actuators, helping engineers push intelligence to the forefront of factory networks and help realize Industry 4.0 Vision.
Trinamic’s application-driven approach and deep application understanding eliminates the need for engineers to have a deep understanding of motors or control circuits, which simplifies the design phase while providing significant savings in development effort and cost, as well as total cost of ownership.
Mouser now offers a variety of Trinamic products, including stepper motor drivers and evaluation kits. The Trinamic TMCM-3110 three-axis stepper motor driver is a highly integrated, compact controller/driver that supports up to three bipolar stepper motors with coil currents up to 2.8 ARMS. The drive operates from 9 VDC to 48 VDC and is available in versions controlled by CANopen firmware or Trinamic’s TMCL firmware. The TMCM-3110 driver also provides three additional encoder interfaces.
The Trinamic TMCM-6110 Six-Axis Stepper Motor Controller and Driver is a self-contained board that supports up to 6 bipolar stepper motors with coil currents up to 1.1 ARMS. Both out-of-the-box boards, the TMCM-3110 and TMCM-6110, feature proprietary StallGuard2™, CoolStep™ and SpreadCycle™ technologies and offer RS485, CAN and USB interfaces. The integrated protocol processor provides advanced TMCL communication. These two off-the-shelf products offer significant development time savings and are therefore ideal solutions for time-to-market projects.
The TMC5130-EVAL-KIT evaluation kit helps engineers explore all the capabilities of the TMC5130A-TA cDriver™ integrated motor driver and motion controller solution for 3D printing, surveillance cameras, pumps and other automation equipment applications. The TMC5160-EVAL-KIT evaluation kit allows engineers to evaluate the high-voltage TMC5160A motor controller and driver IC with a serial communication interface. Both kits contain a microcontroller board, a bridge board and a TMC5130-EVAL or TMC5160-EVAL driver board, providing full access to all registers and full functionality and diagnostics for quick and easy evaluation.
